Croome by default

We planned to meet my sisters and brothers in law at Hidcote, NT. Advance booking was not possible from 13h. However, the car park was so full that we were turned away. We re-oriented to Croome NT for a picnic lunch in the sun after driving through squalls of heavy rain. We walked 4 miles around the estate before tea in the former RAF canteen. My Derby sister headed home. My Kent sister stayed over. It was the first full meet up since 2019!
