I've been a friend for many years, but today was my first time at the SMCA AGM. Also the first time offering to help hosting (setting up and serving refreshments). A good job as the usual stalwart had to urgently go away, and my friend M was stressed with other things re the meetings and not thinking clearly.

I really enjoyed helping out and bringing order to the chaos; also a further glimpse into the life at the cathedral, some private areas in the State Chamber (Great Hall), and local bigwigs - an ex judge today.
