Mature Fothergilla

This was the first one we planted.  A second was also planted in the front yard.  They've never been bothered by any critters. 

We just planted a dwarf fothergilla in our backyard and found that the #$%^&&*%##@!!! rabbits ate all the new growth on it.  We fenced it today. They keep eating our shrubs (even barberry with thorns), our hostas, and our flowers. Rascals…
