Our ship, the Azamara, docked close to the city centre around midday.

This afternoon was spent enjoying the sights of Bordeaux. Special moments included listening to beautiful notes from a saxophone, buying a handmade raffia sun hat, eating a local sweet treat.

The heat was intense!

The main photo was taken from the ship and the extra was taken in the city as we returned to the ship late in the afternoon.

Update - the sweet treat was a Caneles Baillardran, bought from Rue Porte Dujeaux, Bordeaux.
