Worn Out

A trip to Ogden Water for an orienteering event. All went well until I lost concentration and ran past control 11! 

The drive back was equally challenging with the M62 closed for repairs and heavy traffic combined with torrential rain. Rather glad to sink into a hot bath.

Fortunately son Matthew, wife Mary and Mara their dog arrived with a Lasagne. Lovely to catch up with them both. Matthew has just gained promotion and will start his new job in January as head of his department at STRI. 

Mara is a young dog who is two. She tried to get Jet to play but he wasn’t very interested. After they left he took up his favourite spot in front of the fire and nodded off.
