Koflernock circuit

A fine weather day called called us out for a trek up to a lesser visited peak in our neighbourhood. The Koflernock (2277m) has no marked trail, so we had to use all our navigational skills and route-finding to complete the ridge walk. Whilst we knew that this route had been tackled before (from a simple Google search), the route description was a single paragraph. So, we scrambled up the steep side and down the grassier side, earning some terrific views of the Nockalm Straße (high mountain road) and the associated peaks that we have been tackling in the last few years. Aside from a minor unexpected scree slope on the way down, all went to plant and we met the official track lower down to take us back to where we started.
