Soundscape of a Century
For the 100th anniversary of the BBC Radio 3 today is broadcasting a most amazing soundscape, recalling ten decades of seismic events and BBC history, woven together with classical music of the age. It has been an excellent accompaniment to an afternoon of sewing - still listening now as it is eight hours. Well worth catching up on.
Catching up with flags/postcards - I have got quite a bit behind:
- a bit of Japanese Sashiko quilting using a traditional design
- trying out a new stitch - Raised Chain Stitch
- stitching wheels into paper - a piece of paper that I made a long time ago and a bit of Tapa or barkcloth, which I bought in New Zealand a number of years ago
