Der whippet wieder

Will have to play with a safe crowd pleasing Ellie shot today. Poor old wifeys trip in the garden two days back has now resulted in a swollen hand, septicemia, and metal fragments from some fencing being left in her hand.

The operation would have happened tonight to remove the metal fragments, but now she's being awkward and having allergic reactions to the penicillin for the first time in her life.

Our plans to go out today and enjoy taking pictures in our few days of summer have inevitably been put on hold. So instead, dogs went out this afternoon and I laid in the field to catch 5 minutes of peace. Should have realised a whippet never lets a sleeping man lie.
