Res ipsa loquitur

The End.

Jack Ow, promising editor of renowned legal publishing firm CCH, died late last night from severe complications of a broken heart, as a consequence of losing his soul mate. He was 29 years of age.

Always the hopeless romantic, Jack believed in the one true love, the proverbial missing rib that would make life, and everything else worth living, complete. Sadly, that was not to be the case, for his forlorn passing was the culmination of a protracted and futile wait that ended in complete and utter failure.

For eight long and meandering years, he fought with relentless conviction and held steadfast to the belief that true love, elusive as it may be, will happen for those who persevered unendingly for it, at it.

Despite the immeasurable anguish in his life's darkest moments, Jack nonetheless hung on to that belief in patient solitude, never once allowing the embers within to extinguish, for that made light of things.

"That's Jack as we've always known him, he's never wavered from anything he believed in, no matter the odds," said Anderson, a childhood friend and Managing Partner of Ernst & Young, Asia, when asked about the recent loss.

"Call him stubborn, perhaps even foolish, but Jack's courage and undying passion, distinguishes him from what grave indifference we see so pervasive today," added Ken, another close friend and top recruitment consultant for Fortune 500 companies.

Ultimately, Jack found a sense of peace in his final resting moments. He always knew he fought with integrity, boldly and earnestly, no matter how bad a hand he was dealt. And this too would be of no exception.
