Red Berries

Berries on a yew tree in a Warwickshire churchyard. As we know yew trees can always be found in churchyards as they play a role in warding off evil spirits I'm told. I'm also thinking that it's probably a pagan belief appropriated by christianity.

Church this morning in Shipston and then back home to lay the fire and bring more wood in from the store. Some vacuuming too as it needed doing after our bathroom was finally finished yesterday and here and there some bits of stuff on the floors. A really good job by the looks of it. and he had cleaned it all up himself upstairs.

Off to work soon for my p.m. shift and of course it will now be dark that little bit earlier after the clocks changed last night. I hope everyone in the UK remembered!
