in the playhouse

A new playhouse!!! We had a day at home today. Mum came over at lunch time to join us for a barbecue, the first of the year. During the afternoon friends popped by with their daughters' playhouse that the girls had grown out of. It was given a VERY welcome home in the garden. it needs painting but the mini pinks have been playing in it since it arrived.
the afternoon became one of those that evolves. Mum bless her came for a nice quiet barbecue with the grandkids, and we ended up with two more families in the garden on and off in the afternoon. When mum went home at teatime, I went to round up the mini pinks from our next door neighbours, where they and most of the toys had migrated to. I ended up staying round there to enjoy some sunshine before heading home for some more sewing.
It's been a good day.
