Rake Cottages, Glenridding

Yesterday we walked to the Duddon Valley and all we had to do today was walk back.

Over the Walna Scar Road to Coppermines Valley,
through Tilberthwaite to Little Langdale,
across Great Langdale to Grasmere,
up to Grizedale Tarn and down to Lanty's Tarn above Glenridding

up to Greenside Mines,
around the head of Glencoyne,
through Dowthwaitehead,
down the side Threlkeld Common to finish near Wolt Bridge.

81 miles, 19750 feet of climbing in about 33 hours walking - a grand day out.
