Token Candle!

We went out to a posh steak restaurant to celebrate Rachelle’s birthday. The dinner was delicious and we all had some version of steak. I had a 6oz Chateaubriand cut and we all enjoyed the High Altitude Argentinian Malbec to compliment our dinner. Usually when a customer is celebrating a birthday they get a dessert with candles in it. But the token gesture presented was just a solitary birthday candle stuck on a saucer. We saw the funny side of it and Rachelle had a good laugh blowing it out. And we ordered a treat for her anyway - a lemon meringue dessert.
It was good to celebrate together.
