Autumn colours

At Dawyck Botanic Gardens in the Borders where I went with E who is currently staying in Innerleithen while JC is away in California. It wasn't sunny and was mostly a bit wet but not cold so we weren't too unhappy. The colours were spectacular even without sun, especially the maples, like this tree. 

I've now got two extras, both of trees festooned with lichen and berries.
