Crossing the road

We’re back at our caravan lodge, arriving late afternoon.

Not much daylight left, and I hadn’t taken a photograph so heading to the local supermarket for provisions whilst J made a fruit compôte, I took my camera with me.

Extra, a redwing feasting on yew berries. There are flocks of birds flying around the site feasting, but they are flighty and nervous so impossible to approach, which means this is heavily cropped.

Main - I stopped on the access road to let the fallow deer cross from the wood into the marsh and meadow, which means jumping the wall. Once the young buck went the others followed. Taken through the car window.
