Birthday dinner

We had an interesting day that stated with an intended visit to the Vredefort Dome which is the oldest and largest meteorite impact site in the world.

Well, despite lots of advice, and directions given, we didn’t find anything that indicated we were in the right place and there were a few vehicles that contained people that seemed to be as confused as we were. How can you not find something that is over 40km in diameter?

We spent the rest of the day wandering through the town and chilling by the pool before heading out for supper at O’s. The setting was beautiful, the food pretty average, but the company great.
