Charolais cross Bullock
We headed home soon after breakfast. Until we were quite a long way north the weather was attrocious, heavy rain and limited visibility. Despite this, it was amazing how many cars were driving at high speed without lights of any kind.
We stopped for an early lunch at Mainsgill farm shop. The camels are always a useful fallback position when short of blips. Today the sheds had lots of bullocks of many crossbreeds. They all had their heads out feeding at the trough. Among the shots, I took the full face of this Charolais cross appealed. This particular cross was quite light coloured, Charolais crosses are very varied in colour depending on the breed of the mother. I felt monochrome suited it well.
