Medieval Market, Northallerton

Northallerton was established as a market town in 1200AD, today we were treated to a recreation of what the first markets would have been like. The Conquest Living History Society had a number of market stalls set up on the original spot of the market. Speaking to them they were a friendly and knowledgeable bunch of folk. They will be back on Sunday.
