Birthday celebrations

Today has been so busy! Coffee morning with mum and her friends. It was lovely to have sister S there as well - always helps to have more folk to keep the chat going.
Then a hurried dash to Edinburgh to meet H at the maternity unit where she was having an extra scan following her latest ante natal appointment a couple of days. All is good thankfully. I went in with her as R couldn’t get away from work. I felt SO privileged to see our wee grand baby in the scan. 
We ended the day having dinner with V and D. The blip is of N and his two older boys ( they turned 41 on Thursday). The younger one was stuck in Manchester having had his train north cancelled ( again!) and H and R had called off. A and his partner M are up for the weekend - lovely to see them both and also to meet V’s two friends from the US.
Busy, busy day!
