Coniston Water....

...another day in the lakes, another silly o'clock rise, another drive in the dark (but not as scary as yesterday), another wonderful bit of scenery.

There is nothing I love more than to drive through a beautiful mountain range to turn a corner and from nowhere a vista of such beauty takes you breath away, that is what happened this morning.

I pulled over at the first available spot (which to start with was the middle of the road but I didn't care), found a space, grabbed the camera, put on my wellies and headed into the lake, from where I got this shot, which had to come second today to this picture which is also SOOC.

The only thing that disturbed this wonderful scene was someone with the louded snore I have ever heard ringing across the entire lake, I am sure that the other campers had wished they are pitched their tents elseswhere.
