The Bass Rock

The view from our bedroom goes across Elie Bay, Ruby Bay, past the Elie lighthouse and onto the Bas Rock (different view). This evening it is catching the last of the evening sun and showing up all the guano! There is a lot of guano. Approximately one hundred thousand gannets live on this rock and it is the largest breeding gannet colony in the UK.
