ROSE BY ANY OTHER NAME

Just when I think I’ve seen the last of the ROSES on the fences, another arrives to compete with the sunset. It almost begged to be my Blip.

We are walking earlier to get home before dark. Yesterday we saw a rocket launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base, in Santa Barbara County. The contrail was otherworldly, as was the sonic boom. A bit frightening, actually.

Tonight we only saw a glorious sunset….
