Two blue

Although it was the bank holiday today I went to work - we can take the bank holidays on the day or choose to take them in lieu on a day we want, so it's not like we lose out. It always seems like a good idea to work, until the day actually comes - I'm afraid all I could think when the alarm went off just before 6 this morning was a slightly less coherent version of "I wish I'd taken the bank holiday"! Oh well, up here the weather really wasn't up to much, so I might as well have been in the office.

I bought these wine glasses a couple of years ago at a PotFest, we often try to go to one of these which are put on every year at various points - nearest to us is the one at Scone Palace (in June this year) but we've also been to the one at Penrith in the Lake District before too. It's one of those things where there are just so many beautiful things you (well I) want to buy that I could end up bankrupt, so I have to be strict with myself and treat it as a gallery rather than a shop - look not buy!
