October (just) Garden

A damp, grey and windy start to the day did turn for the better once I had dropped Bailey off at the groomers this morning. I should have done some of the work jobs on the list but determined to go and do some tidying in the garden instead. It's clearly been enjoying the warmth and the wet of this last week and quite a few things are still flowering, including the roses, cosmos and the echinops having a second go. 

Off to collect Bailey at lunchtime who looks very smart and is also very tired. He perked up a little to see his favourite people for a trip to the pub and charmed other folk but mainly ignored our catch up.
