Hand tool

I’ve watched a moozillion videos about angle grinders. I’m something of a theoretical expert on them. But I’m still too scared to even open the box again.

I’ve watched a vermillion videos about cutting tiles with hand tools. I got a bit better at the snippy tools, but they’re still not as predictable as I’d like. So I went to Screwfix and bought a hacksaw with a tile-cutting blade.

It’s the best hand tool I’ve used, but it doesn’t produce as clean a cut as the angle grinder would. But the table-top straight-line tile cutter doesn’t produce a perfectly clean cut either. I’m not that bothered.

My fingers are safe.
