Wellness Walks: BDO. Tarn Hows

Woohoo, it all worked out. I booked the off road mobility trampers (extra) weeks ago and have been watching the forecast all week. Mixed to say the least.
Awoke to terrible, but passing through quickly, went for it....

Very very pleased to have been able to take C & N with us for a wander, they're both young and been through a huge amount. We'll be doing it again.

Philosophy Friday 
Its not the critic who counts: not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. 

Credit belongs to to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood:  who strives valiantly, who errs, who comes short again and again but tries once more. 

Because there is no effort without error and shortcoming. But whoever does actually strive to do the deeds, who knows great enthusiasms, the great devotions, who spends himself in a worthy cause, who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement who at the worst, if he fails, at least fails while daring greatly. Well his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who never try, who neither know victory or defeat.
