Boosted

I was feeling a bit better today which was just as well as we were all four due to get our boosters. Due to my having changed the dates (because we had covid) I'd got the times mixed up and we arrived nearly half an hour late. 

The people were absolutely lovely - if they'd sent us away we'd have quite understood. They were also rushed off their feet, and the poor guy doing the injecting looked absolutely frazzled. Apparently he hadn't had a break (since when I don't know) or so the volunteer receptionist said. I said to him, "Seems like you're having a rough day" and his facial expression said "you don't know the half of it".

None of us knows what vaccination we got because we weren't given any paperwork. We're pretty sure it was against covid though!

Afterwards we sat outside a nearby café with a cup of tea for a little while - we'd been told not to drive for 15 minutes. I popped into a couple of nearby charity shops for a mosey - the most excitement I've had in weeks!

Now we just hope that we don't get too many side effects. I had my dominant arm jabbed, because I sleep on the other one.
