Spinus spinus

A cloudy, but quite warm day to be late autumn. Actually a very good weather to go out. I found a tree full of Eurasian siskins, common siskins, eating. Of course I supposed I will have pictures of them very easily. They didn't seem to care about me at all. Food was more important. But, to have one sharp photo of them was quite a challenge. I guess I had tens of captures, but none sharp. They were moving all the time, at least their heads. In the web they are described for example like this: "Flocks of siskins move briskly and swing on birch or alder branches eating seeds, sometimes even hanging upside down." Now I know.
