Glen Affric

After our minor epic yesterday in the snow and gusting winds we decided more Munro's would probably not be a good idea without our winter kit, which was conveniently in a box back in Edinburgh. So we decided to cut our losses, load up our packs a head home. Great walk out around the north side of Loch Affric, with some interesting river crossing (water levels were VERY high with all the snow melt).

Made a slight detour on the way home to the great Black Isle Brewery to pick up some necessary(!) supplies.

The weekend may not have turn out as planned, but still had a great time. Being able to get out in the Highlands like this it the reason we live in Scotland.
