Santandria.

The Beach or Cala de Santandria is a small urban cove located very close to Ciutadella de Menorca. Santandria is both the name of the beach and the name of the urbanization that is next to the beach.
Lisa took me on a road trip today to Gigi's in Ciutadella for fish and chips, reputedly the best on the island. Although there was an extensive menu, we ignored that and went straight for the F&Cs with mushy peas of course. It did not disappoint, to the extent that I was enjoying it so much that I forgot to take the requisite Food Porn picture. Here instead is a small beach along the coast, thankfully with very few tourists, although I had to position myself carefully to avoid some nearly-naked sunbathers (does just wearing a tiny thong count as "nearly"?). I left in the man and his son to show how shallow and incredibly clear the sea is at this point. I've not been to this part of the island before and certainly wouldn't in the Summer season, for although this cove is lovely it is surrounded by nasty concrete blocks of tourist apartments and shops of tourist tat. An inflatable pelican large enough for two adults is surely going to add considerably to the plastic waste mountain after a two week holiday....
