Incredible... or not?

This nice couple is sitting in a niche at the entrance of the house where we have been living several years. The incredible thing is that I have never seen the little sculpture before!

The natural explanation is maybe that after walking up a few stairs you have to turn to the left to enter the code before opening the door. When the couple is sitting in the niche to the right, it's really understandable if you don’t notice them.

But there is another explanation as well; they haven't been sitting there forever... We discussed the topic and found that this alternative is probably the correct one. Who has put them there…?

This is a kind of an emergency blip, the only pic I took this date. And a backblip as well, not easy to find time for blipping and looking at your blips every day - but hopefully there will be better days soon...
