Caught in Between

Walking today beside the River Meavy in West Devon, I saw this sycamore tree leaf which had become naturally caught on a barbed-wire fence. It stood out because of it's autumn colours and it's position between air and earth. I found myself thinking that if leaves could be in purgatory, it might be something like this!
