Sika Deer

Such a lovely day today, walking in Faccombe, our favourite village near Andover. Just turned into the path along this big field and saw at least ten sika deer feeding on green shoots. They spotted us too soon for us to get much closer and once they saw us slowly approaching, it was run, run, run.
But at least we saw them, the spirits of the woods....
