More work on the porch roof, a bit belt and bracers really.  A quilted gownless evening strap helped with the wind.  I then spent a frustrating amount of time trying to cancel a subscription to a magazine.  I’ve been into the bank in Kirkwall to do this twice in the last ten months but the grief rolls on.  Honestly.  However, if ‘My Axminster and Me’ by Sue Barker appeals, I can wholeheartedly recommend ‘Underlay Monthly’.  I then read through reams of paper designed to confuse.  It’s the local authority guide to my mother’s care costs.  To cap off a fine mid-afternoon I went a repaired a large hole in the dyke; even though I couldn’t find my lump hammer.  I have to admit I didn’t check under CMC’s pillow.

However, in a display of kind heartedness, to show I am thinking of you all, I must share news of a Sat Nav breakthrough.  Whether you are in Newport Pagnell, Dulwich, Monymusk, Haltwhistle, St Budeaux, or Wormwood Scrubs, it has to come to my notice (after a rash of complaints) that apparently no system recognises KW17 2HH.  Therefore I have posted a pic of Vetquoy Road.
