Autumn at Trendlebere Down

Trendlebere Down is one of those places that most people drive past thinking 'that looks lovely' but few actually venture into it. It's a sheltered valley and there are lots of silver birch trees so I thought it would be worth a visit for that reason alone.

I was attracted to this dead tree which contrasts nicely with the bright leaves of the autumnal birch trees around it.
