“Fan Zone”

A journey into the town centre of Warrington this morning to sort a dad issue out after the online route failed to work. All now sorted.

The world rugby league cup is taking place this month through into November, with the Papua New Guinea team based in the town and the Halliwell Jones stadium featuring four of the matches. The old market is now branded a “fan zone”. I have no idea how it’s all going as I don’t follow the sport. It’s really popular in this part of the world and the zone is no doubt busy when there’s things going on.
