Beautiful Oak at my beautiful Visit

This stunning Oak (I think it’s an oak) was at the botanical gardens I visited in Myrtle Beach SC. The Gardens are a combination of four (4) former rice plantations. Over the years, one family purchased and combined the 4 plantations, and willed it after their death - to be developed as a public botanical sculpture gardens. The stunning Gardens include wonderful sculptures, small buildings with more art sculptures, and an interesting pontoon boat tour to learn more of the plantation history. The original kitchen ‘shack’ of the plantation provides a great lunch in a pretty outdoor setting (no seating room inside the kitchen).
It was an incredibly lovely park and tour.
And we were treated to an October craft show. I especially enjoyed the afternoon with my friends.
