Woke up in an odd mood and couldn’t motivate myself to get out in the garden/ which was the plan. Ended up reading in bed for too long and then going to Sherwood to look for striped carpet for the stairs and landing as I finally have a date for the decorator to start. Hooray ! Trip wasn’t successful but called in to see Su for quick coffee - wall between her kitchen and the extension hadjust come down. Problem with the footings though which could be pricey! Got home and finally did some gardening. I planted four big climbing plants which needed detangling and tying onto the trellis so didn’t do too badly
