Waiting ....

.... for her dad to come downstairs! 

We had to take Ivy to the vet this morning because she scraped the inside of her thigh on Saturday afternoon/evening (probably/possibly missing her footing on stone garden steps while chasing a cat in the garden) and although it is not infected and slowly getting better (we've been putting aloe vera gel on it which is a wonderful healer) it is obviously still bothering her and it's hard to stop her licking it and thus slowing the granulation process to get going.  The vet has given us a week's worth of antibiotics just to make sure and also suggested we try and keep it covered by fashioning something for her like a pair of shorts!  Anyway, Mr Sk found some knee high tights I'd thrown out recently and so we've cut the toe off and it fits quite nice and snugly around her thigh.  She doesn't seem to mind it too much and it has stopped her licking it.  Hopefully it will soon start to heal properly.  She's fine in herself and runs about on her walks in the normal way!
