Missed It

Left the house in thick fog this morning. Half way to the lake the fog suddenly vanished and it began to rain instead. Riding on my motor scooter as I was, I got rightly soaked. So you get no fog, just a soggy view across the lake.
It won't be too long before we will be able to walk over to that wee island bringing our sausages with is to grill on the public fire place. Shortly after Christmas this water will be frozen solid unless climate change kicks in as it did two winters ago.
