The abandoned village of Comes

Today’s walk took us to the abandoned village of Comes. We climbed up 430 m from the little village of Eus which frequently claims it is the sunniest village in France with around 300 hours of sunshine per year. only the church has been restored. A long chain was hanging from it and I couldn’t resist pulling it.
I stopped quickly as I noticed a shepherd way below looking up and thought I might be giving the wrong message. The walk was very pleasant, just under 10 km in total.
