Covent Garden

We tried to get into the pub we had chosen after our photo walk yesterday evening, but couldn't because it was packed.  The City seems to be back to normal. As someone said: crisis, what crisis? We did find another lovely pub with a free table a bit further away, which is good because photography is thirsty work :-)

Then today I had lunch in Covent Garden and it's as manic as it ever was, with crowds and buskers and performers in outlandish outfits  Mind you, the weather is glorious, I don't remember shirt sleeves weather in late October before.  There were several tour guides and their parties wobbling round the pedestrians on their bicycles. This girl was one of the leaders, gaily tinkling her little bell to get through the meandering crowds.
