I have tried to avoid the news but it’s relentless. The new cabinet seems so stale - full of has--beens or never-were-beens. I don’t understand why the Deputy PM is back again because when he was in the same role previously, he didn’t deputise when Boris had Covid. He has the most vacant cold eyes I’ve ever seen - ‘there’s a light on but there’s nobody in’ but I can’t even see a light on! And that evil Rwanda woman is back ! ‘I made a mistake but I‘ve apologised’ is said so often recently it’s unbelievable. Would a criminal in a court of law escape sentencing if they said that?
