A start
Another very warm but quite windy day. I have had my last (for now) lot of washing out on the line. More clouds around as you can see in the background but largely dry as is the washing
Caught up with the ironing whilst Chris went to help clean out the cupboards in the church kitchen with the Luncheon club group.
Afterwards I decided to make a start on the leaves in the garden. Filled one bag but there are lots more to come. Most are from the large magnolia tree - right. The smaller one to the left, is still largely in the green so won’t drop for a while.
Last will be the Oak tree at the top of the back garden, seen here at the top left of the picture.
Whilst raking I came across a couple of clump of fungi which I managed to avoid decapitating!
In the foreground you can see the golden leaved Genii Fuchsia still flowering well and the pots of Begonias and Cosmos still giving some late summer colour to the garden.
There will be lots more to do but it feels good to have made a start.
