Our First Long Reining Session

With the help of Alison (who also took this photo) we did our first long-reining session with Jack this morning. We used the poles that were already in a maze shape and ended up taking him out of the school and around the grass track through the fields. He took to it well and ideally with time, we would be able to long rein up and out through the village to give Jack confidence of walking out by himself.

This afternoon we spent pottering in the garden and watching tv as my Dad came up yesterday afternoon to stay for a few days.
