The Plane Truth

Something functional and useful can be beautiful and it can stand the test of time and retain it's beauty and usefulness for generations. My husband collects planes and other old tools that are being thrown away. We display them proudly all over our store and take them down from the shelves to use them whenever we need to. The elderly people in our society have much to offer, too, but sometimes their beauty and usefulness goes unnoticed and they are discarded. They have lived through and can share with us the history that we can only know through books. They have stories, skills and talents to offer. Lets take them down off the shelf, acknowledge their beauty and usefulness and allow them to enrich our lives and theirs.
