Bank Holiday work.

No 2 son manning his stall at the shopping centre. Trying to entice 16 year olds to go (amongst other things) on resdiential courses this year.
When approaching young girls he has been adviced not to say 'are you 16?' but to ask if they are in Year 11, in case people get the wrong idea!!
Went to the gym this morning forgetting that it was the MK marathon today starting at the football stadium, which is next to my gym. Traffic was horrendous.
Walking back from the centre I discovered that near where I live it was the 22 mile spot and I arrived just in time to applause the leader who had just reached that distance. 'Chariots of Fire' was blaring out from loudspeakers to encourage the runners up the hill and I clapped and cheered complete strangers who were supporting many charities. It was baking hot and not ideal conditions for marathon running. They certainly deserve their medals.
