Neighbour Andrew came round this morning for the much anticipated putting up of shelves in the kitchen. In one months time I’ll be celebrating five years in this little house and I think I can finally say that it’s exactly how I want it. I’m so lucky to have a house but to have one I love so much is just the best. I hope I never take it for granted.

The rest of the day switched between reading and doing a bit of house sorting. The kind of jobs that you save until the school holidays. All of that with the prospect of run club to look forward to later.

Mike returned from running the Bruges marathon with some Belgian chocolate for us all. What a hero.
