Akbuk afternoon

I spent a warm sunny afternoon in Akbuk on the waterfront at the CoDA* fund raising event hosted by the owners of Sahara restaurant . I helped out at the second hand clothes stall, and then everyone settled down in the garden for an auction of various donated items while enjoying various vittles.  I successfully bid for a super soft snuggly blanket to curl up in on the long cold dark nights ahead. It was quite weird to watch stuff I have recently donated go under the hammer - but everything sold so I am pleased about that.
