We went to the exhibition on Egyptian hieroglyphs at the British Museum. It’s a difficult subject to present (lots of papyri with small writing) but they did a great job of telling the story of the Rosetta stone, which was on display.
Interesting fact: the Egyptian word for ‘cat’ was ‘mioew.’
The extra shows some cats.
